What we are looking for

We’re looking for a friendly multitasking champion, who responds to internal and external customers with a smile. You will manage the reception area and related administrative activities to ensure the smooth running of the office.

 

Your main tasks will be

  1. Answer and direct calls, and take messages
  2. Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and answer correspondence
  3. Receive outgoing mail, keep an updated outgoing mail log, and ensure its dispatch in due time either with the company drivers or via shipping and courier services suppliers
  4. Dispatch bills, invoices, or checks when requested by the Accounting Department
  5. Establish and update a proper filing system
  6. Process and prepare various types of documents
  7. Assist drivers in scheduling their daily program
  8. Supervise the maintenance and use of office areas and equipment

Overall, you will be accountable for enhancing the company’s online presence and ensuring the best information flow and user experience for current and potential customers

 

What will you do?

 

  • Develop understanding of each event early on

  • Understand visitors and exhibitors’ segments for each event

  • Plan and design in coordination with the UX/UI team the most appropriate user-journey, information architecture and wireframes for all website projects to improve conversion and usability

  • Work through concept to delivery: research, conceptualize, design, and refine solutions to design briefs

What we are looking for
A pivotal role in the success of ACM’s conference portfolio, you will be calling existing or potential customers on a daily basis to achieve ACM’s sponsorship investment and revenue growth objectives for each conference. The role focuses on having a sound knowledge of established and newly launched ACM brands and events and using this knowledge to generate client interest, qualify prospects, and close deals. You will work within a dedicated sponsorship sales team and receive regular training and mentoring from an experienced Line Manager in order to provide you with the customized tools and techniques to meet your targets.
 
Your main tasks will be
  1. Develop strong knowledge about each ACM conference within your assigned portfolio.
  2. Create and build a targeted Marketing List using the CRM system for each conference within your assigned portfolio.
  3. Maintain and expand the database of prospects for your assigned conferences.
  4. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, generating qualified leads.
  5. Generate sponsorship sales revenue in line with or above agreed targets and objectives.

Senior Key Account Manager - International Sales

We're looking for a champion to develop business between IFP and customers from countries within an assigned territory. As the main point of interaction of intermediaries with IFP, the Senior Key Account Manager – International Sales is responsible for the quality of these relationships, which requires a commercial mindset with a pro-active, problem-solving attitude. The Senior Key Account Manager – International Sales is responsible for achieving IFP Group’s sales target in the countries covered by the assigned territory, which requires to liaise with internal teams and external third-parties to share information and knowledge.
 

Your main tasks will be:

 

Research:

  • Monitor, review, and archive the research done by the International Sales Analyst regarding intermediaries such as official bodies, government agencies, and potential sales agents in the assigned territory to build and maintain institutional knowledge and perform the necessary due diligence to select them

  • Monitor IFP’s competitors’ moves within allocated countries

  • Perform own market research within allocated countries to understand their economic and business environment, in particular: exporting sectors (and economic context), destinations of interest to each country, and making sure that such intelligence is shared with the relevant departments within IFP Group (marketing, research and business development, CEO)

Account Management:

  • Develop and compile customer profiles to document customers’ interaction history, operating model, objectives, decision making process, etc.

  • Understand the individual agenda of each intermediary mentioned above and develop the key account development plan to set the key account objectives (sales, service levels, business relations, etc.) and the strategies to achieve them, in coordination with the CEO

  • Develop and nurture business relations with agents and intermediaries mentioned above within allocated countries

  • Communicate relevant information to intermediaries and agents about IFP and the markets in which IFP events are taking place, liaising internally with IFP’s marketing and research teams whenever their support is required to design the appropriate marketing support material and/or extract relevant information

Sales:

  • Set annual sales targets and forecasts per project by value and SQM for selected agents and relevant intermediaries

  • Make calls and/or visits to former and potential agents and intermediaries mentioned above to build customer relationships, deliver excellent customer service and maximise revenue, including cross-selling (benefitting from established relationships on strong shows to promote challenging events)

  • Ensure everything is done to maximise government or trade associations support for IFP shows in as many countries as possible

  • Utilize IFP’s Inside Sales team whenever needed to push sales in assigned countries on specific shows, providing them with accurate lists of prospects (either bought or obtained from trade associations and other intermediaries)

  • Coordinate with GMs of local IFP stations in order to manage relationships with local representatives from countries within the assigned territory (embassies’ commercial attachés, export agency representatives, etc.)

  • Communicate with the Operations and Accounting teams to ensure optimal coordination within IFP, as well as keep control of the relationship to mitigate risk of incidents

  • Whenever the sales volumes allow it, organize road shows within allocated countries to promote business opportunities, showcase IFP events (sales volume thresholds to be defined); liaise with International Sales team, marketing, research, and the CEO to optimize said road shows

Team Management:

  • Develop the International Sales Analyst(s) and Key Account Managers’ performance by managing and implementing a robust sales process, creating result-oriented KPIs and developing the team’s skills and capabilities

  • Integrate institutional knowledge of international sales into the onboarding process for new team members in coordination with the HR Department

Reporting & knowledge sharing

  • Provide the International Sales Coordinator and the CEO with up-to-date targets and sales figures, to allow accurate group consolidation

  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date log of interactions, sales volumes, procedures and schedules mentioned above with each agent and intermediary (on excel and/or CRM or other online tool), and share such information at the request of the International Sales Coordinator or the CEO

  • Liaise regularly with other Key Account Managers of International Sales, International Sales Coordinator, and the CEO, to ensure cross-learning across region managers and within the group

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Education: BS /BA required, MBA is a plus

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a sales position preferably in the exhibitions industry, plus account Management & planning experience.

  • Language: English, French and/or Arabic are a plus
